Generation 1 actors from the original Transformers cartoon series will be teaming up with the voice actors of the Transformers game.
If you’re a huge fan of the classic Transformers stories then you might be happy to hear that alongside Peter Cullen and Frank Welker will be some original voice actors from the old 80s Transformers stories. Activision has stated that they want to please new Transformers fans along with the original fans as well.
In a recent press release Activision stated that they are indeed in the process of signing on multiple voice actors from the animated TV series. The company didn’t release any specific names but reporters state that Activision has been talking with Keith David and Mark Ryan to reprise the voices of Barricade and Iron Hide. Alongside them will be Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox teaming up with Cullen and Welker to fill in the dialogue of their respective characters from the movie. To add even more originality to the game Activision also has Flint Dille the writer from the animated series working on the storyline for the game. The game is currently under development and is expected to hit all current generation consoles including handhelds.
