Have you PlayStation fans checked the store today? It looks like you could get some potentially awesome, or potentially disappointing news!
Spotted by various people across the internet, the ads for the PlayStation store Deals & Offers section show the original price of $29.99 USD/$39.99 CAD for Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag scratched out and then replaced by ‘Free’ for both PS+ members and non-PS+ members.
When you click on the icon though, the 50% off sale price for Black Flag in the Assassin’s Creed sale running until September 29 instead. You could be on an epic swashbuckling adventure for FREE?
This could be a hint at Black Flag potentially being in the October’s “Instant Game Collection”, which is a monthly collection of games that PS+ members get exclusively for free via the PS Network Store. Or, is it just a mistake?
Xbox One owners have said that Black Flag is being offered for free on their stores as well, though.
Until PlayStation itself can confirm it, we won’t know until then!
