Many Final Fantasy games in the past have featured glossaries that detail monsters and enemies you’ve defeated, from the Bestiary in Final Fantasy Origins to the Enemy Intel in the Datalog of Final Fantasy XIII. Now it would appear Final Fantasy XV will be receiving a similar treatment, according to a recent interview with director Hajime Tabata.
Japanese publication Entertainment Station asked Tabata directly, “Are there plans for a monster encyclopedia-like item that shows information such as a monster’s weaknesses and dropped items?” He responded, “There are plans. As for when, please look forward to further information.”
Similar to the rest of Final Fantasy XV’s upcoming patches and DLC, it sounds like there may be a bit of a wait, but it’s always nice to have something to look forward to.
Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One. Check out our review here.
