It looks as if we have the first concrete confirmation of what is set to feature in the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII and it comes courtesy of promotional material currently being received by retailers.
Ever since the pre-announcement that we’d see the official reveal trailer for Sledgehammer Games’ latest entry on April 26, news has been coming thick and fast with regards to what we can expect. First we had the release date set for November 3, then we had the box art leak confirming Sony’s DLC exclusivity deal, and finally a number of low-resolution screenshots that cropped up following an update to the series’ official website.
Well now, the latest promotional material has shed light on the game’s story, the closed beta access once you pre-order the game, and the fact that a new high-octane co-operative mode may be taking the place of the traditional zombie mode.

Call of Duty: WWII will receive its official reveal on April 26 at 10:00am PDT (6:00pm GMT) and we’re expecting a trailer spliced with some gritty gameplay. As ever, stay tuned to PSU for the news as it comes.
