Call of Duty WW2 release date and DLC leaked

call of duty ww2 release date

The Call of Duty WW2 release date has allegedly leaked via a retail poster for the as-yet unannounced first-person shooter, stating the next chapter in the multi-million selling franchise will drop on November 3, 2017.

While publisher Activision has yet to confirm a release date for the game (or anything else for that matter; the game exists only as a rumor for the time being), the timing at least seems plausible, considering most Call of Duty games launch in the early November timeframe.

In addition, the retailer poster also confirms that Call of Duty WW2 DLC is in the pipeline in the form of PlayStation-exclusive map packs, which will be available for the PS4 30 days ahead of any other platform, as is the case with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. You can check out the leaked poster below.

Earlier this week, a job ad posted by developer Sledgehammer Games indicated that the upcoming World War II-based shooter is targeting realistic graphics, with the phrase photorealism being touted. Activision had previously hinted at the direction for its next Call of Duty game by stating it would take the series back to its roots.
