Robert Bowling leaves Infinity Ward

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has announced his departure from the company.

Bowling, who worked as creative strategist for the Call of Duty developer, confirmed his resignation on Twitter:

“Today, I resign from my position as Creative Strategist of Call of Duty, as a lead of Infinity Ward, and as an employee of Activision,” he said.

Bowling neglected to divulge any information regarding his future plans, though promised he would keep fans updated.

Publishing Activision added: “We sincerely thank Robert for his many years of service. He’s been a trusted and valued member of the Infinity Ward team. We wish him all the best on his decision to pursue future opportunities.”

Bowling (aka FourZeroTwo) has been at the forefront of community interaction for the Call of Duty franchise for many years now, having originally joined up as community manager back in 2006.
