Sony conquers over half Japanese software top ten

The PlayStation Portable has once again acquitted itself magnificently at Japanese retail, snatching five top ten software sales places for the week ending November 30. Well-established brands like Gundam, Yu-Gi-Oh and KOEI’s love-it-or-hate-it Musou beat-em-ups led the charge.

The PlayStation 3 didn’t make quite as much of a dent, though Konami’s Winning 11 2009 made a powerful debut at second place – narrowly behind Level 5’s charming brain-boggler Professor Layton and the Last Time Travel.
