Assassin’s Creed: Revelations has been hailed as the final chapter in the Ezio/Altair story arc, but closure isn’t the only thing that Revelations will bring to the table, as we now know what some of those new features are.
The PS Blog has detailed some of the PlayStation 3 specific changes and additions to the new Assassin’s Creed, some of them bigger than others, but all seemingly benefit the game.
Most notably, Revelations will be playable in 3D on the PS3, which apparently makes those leaps of faith all that much more exciting. Among some of the new additions and changes are the remapping of Eagle Vision to L3 in order to free up the Triangle button for secondary weapons.
Ezio can now also use lutes (primitive guitars) as a weapon to assassinate enemies, as well as the Apple of Eden, a mystical item/weapon of great importance in the Assassin’s Creed lore.
You can check out some more features and additions to Revelations at the PS Blog, or you can just wait until the game is released on November 15, and see for yourself.
