Kotaku has posted a promotional image for Assassin’s Creed III that may be giving us our first real look at the next game’s protagonist.
Leaked by a Best Buy employee, the promo art shows a man with the usual “assassin” likeness, however, with a few twists. Carrying a tomahawk, a bow and arrows, and a primitive firearm, this new character stands in front of the original Continental flag, leading us to believe that Assassin’s Creed III will take place during the American Revolution.
This isn’t the first we’ve heard of that either—rumors have been floating around the internet of the new AC taking place during the colonial era.
No word from Ubisoft yet, but stick around; we might be hearing more about this sooner rather than later.
