Platinum Games’ stylish action game Bayonetta has an official release date in Japan. Sega announced that the game will hit retailers on October 29 in Japan, and pre-ordering lands you a “Rodin’s Selection,” a special soundtrack CD with a case that looks like a menu from a pub.
There’s little more information on what the CD will contain, but Sega stated it includes “sounds hand-picked by Rodin himself.”
No word at this time for a global release, but as we reported earlier, Sony’s U.S. and European game profile pages indicated a ‘2009’ launch date. We’ll let you know when we hear a more specific release date for North America and Europe.
