During the Sony’s 2011 Consumer Electronics Show press conference, Executive Deputy President of Sony Computer Entertainment, Kaz Hirai, announced that the company is working hard to launch Netflix on the PlayStation Vita the same day it’ll be released in North America—February 22.
No word on if this means the video streaming service will come to Canada on the same day as well, but it’s great to know that Netflix will be hitting the Vita’s 5 inch OLED screen so early. Stay tuned for more CES news as it breaks.
