DiRT Showdown will be swerving into U.K. stores on May 25 and arrives in the U.S. on May 29, Codemasters has announced.
In addition, the publisher also confirmed that a playable teaser of the racer will be released on May 1 for PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam. It’ll feature both solo and multiplayer events.
U.K. gamers will able to grab a special Hoonigan edition of Showdown by pre-ordering from Gamestation and GAME, which features a host of additional content including unique packaging, in-game cash boost and online XP multiplier.
DiRT Showdown takes the franchise in a new action-packed direction that sees gamers using nitrous blasts to overtake rivals while navigating obstacle-filled tracks crammed with ramps, multiple routes and full-contact racing.
The new Hoonigan events will allow players to test their freestyle driving skills to the limit in massive stunt parks, while the Demolition Derby mode makes full use of the game’s advanced damage modelling engine.
