A teaser for the latest episode of GameTrailers TV has revealed that gamers can expect the first details on a “surprise Sony sequel” when the show goes live in the U.S. this Thursday.
The announcement itself is accompanied by a montage of triple-A PS3 Sony offerings, such as Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, so it’s a safe bet to assume we won’t be getting a new PSP game reveal.
As for the identity of the mystery sequel, PSU Towers has only one game in mind (as does the rest of the Internet, for that matter), namely Resistance 3. As you may remember, the game popped up by way of a billboard advertisement for use in the Sony-made film Battle: Los Angeles back in October last year.
