Amazon officially posted the highly-rumored new God of War game this evening under the name God of War: Ascension.
To validate the leaked reveal, Amazon also posted an official trailer with the "Long Live Play" ending banner that Sony sports after its trailers. This trailer delivers the news that this upcoming game is a prequel to the entire series, as the voice of Gaia mentions that much happened before Kratos became the Ghost of Sparta.
