Monster Hunter, GTA listed for PS Vita on Play.com

Play.com has posted listings for several as yet unannounced PlayStation Vita titles, including Monster Hunter Portable 3 and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights.

The retailer has also leaked Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, as well as the previously-released Tales of Innocence R.

Sony is due to host a PS Vita event, Game Heaven, on March 9 where it has been confirmed there will be reveals on several new games for the handheld.

Monster Hunter has remained an obvious choice for Sony’s new pocket brick, seeing as how the original games sold millions on PlayStation Portable, especially in its native Japan.

Capcom showed MH3 running on PS Vita hardware back in January last year, though never gave official confirmation that it would actually be released for the new device, then known as the NGP. That didn’t stop a Sony executive from saying a Monster Hunter title would drop for PS Vita this year, however.

GTA on the other hand is another likely bet, and it’s worth pointing out that Rockstar made a couple of spin-offs for PSP in the shape of GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Vice City Stories.

Meanwhile, Final Fantasy Type-0 released on PSP in Japan last year, though has yet to see the light of day in the U.S. and Europe. However, Square previously confirmed that localisation for a western release was on-going.

Lastly, Tales of Innocence R has already launched in Japan, with Play.com’s listing suggesting plans are in motion for a western release.
