At the San Francisco Web 2.0 Summit, President & CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, Jack Tretton, revealed the long sought-after North American launch date for the PlayStation Vita.
The Vita will launch on February 22, 2012 in the US, Canada, Latin America, and Europe – which is earlier than most have speculated.
As previously announced, the Vita will retail for $249.99 for the Wifi-only SKU, and $299.99 for the 3G enabled model.
