Joystiq reports that the PlayStation 3 version of Saints Row: The Third is missing the exclusive content publisher THQ unveiled at E3 back in June.
As such, both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the comical gangster romp are identical in terms of content, and THQ’s keeping its lips firmly sealed on the matter, issuing a “no comment” when quizzed.
For those unaware, the content in question was described by THQ at E3 as “an exclusive mode on PS3 utilising [Saints Row: The Third’s] signature weapon,” namely the purple dildo bat.
Joystiq goes on to speculate that the content may have originally taken the form of the wave-based co-op Whored Mode, which is now available in all versions of the game.
