Capcom has today revealed that it has delayed the release of Resident Evil 5’s upcoming downloadable content in Japan by a fortnight.
The DLC – which adds in a multiplayer Versus mode – has attracted many complaints from gamers as of late, who expressed their displeasure at having to fork out extra cash for the content. While the company had very little to say in regards to the delay, there is a slim chance that they’re pushing for a simultaneous release.
“We deeply apologize to those customers who have been waiting for this downloadable content,” said the firm.
Originally scheduled to release on March 26, the Versus DLC will now be available on April 9. As of yet, there is no firm release date for western territories.
