Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions to feature "Noir" and "Amazing" places

If you like your Spider-Man to stay in one dimension, you may be disappointed to hear that Activision’s upcoming game based on Peter Parker’s alter-ego will take you through not two dimensions, not even three dimensions. Nope, you’ll play Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions in four different dimensions – although, the name seems to give away this is going to be a broken dimension affair.

Right now we know about two dimensions, “amazing” and “noir.” In the game’s story, written by The Amazing Spider-Man comic writer Dan Slott, an artifact called the Tablet of Order and Chaos, which holds immense powers and is designed to keep reality in balance, gets broken into four pieces, hence the four dimensions.

If you are a Spider-Man fan you’ll recognize the “amazing” and “noir” dimensions named after titles of comics. It seems the other two dimensions will follow in this same fashion.

We’ve posted a video below showing off some of Spider-Man’s moves. There are also some more screens through here.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is set for release this fall on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
