The Elder Scrolls Online coming to PS4 in summer 2014

Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June 2014.

The home console version releases two months after its PC and Mac counterpart, which arrives on April 4.

Developed by ZeniMax Online Studios, The Elder Scrolls Online has been in the works for over five years, and takes place 1,000 years before the events depicted in the fantasy-RPG, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Here, players come together to wage war across Tamriel in order to claim the Ruby Throne.

While the game will be available for multiple platforms, Bethesda has ruled out any possibility of cross-platform play.
