Did you ever want to tear apart enemies limb-from-limb with some careful sniper shots? Well City Interactive has you covered with upcoming DLC for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. The content was originally apart of the game, but was removed to ensure that the title wouldn’t be banned in Germany.
Speaking with Joystiq, producer Michael Sroczynski said dismemberment was removed from retail copies to ensure it wouldn’t be banned. The content will be reintroduced as DLC for free on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. We should get this addition later this year in most regions where gory content is generally not banned—so probably not Australia or Germany.
