Classic platformer Sonic Adventure 2 will spin-dashing its way onto PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade, SEGA has announced.
The game was unveiled during the Sonic Boom event over the weekend, and is scheduled for release in fall 2012.
Sonic Adventure 2 was originally released on the Dreamcast in 2001, and was later ported to GameCube under the moniker Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. From the look of things, this digital re-release appears to be based on the Dreamcast version.
Earlier leaks suggest a high-definition upgrade, leaderboards and offline multiplayer. We’ll keep you posted on any further details.
