U.K. Charts: The Last of Us makes six weeks at no.1

The Last of Us has enjoyed a sixth consecutive week at the summit of the U.K. All Format Charts.

The PlayStation 3-exclusive action-adventure was released worldwide on June 14, netting near-perfect scores from critics and rocketing to the top of the charts on both sides of the pond.

Furthermore, its six-week reign at no.1 has resulted in the game beating the previous record held by Call of Duty: Black Ops II and FIFA 12. Not too shabby for a platform-exclusive release, though it’s worth mentioning the game was released in a traditionally quiet period.

Elsewhere, Dynasty Warriors 8 enters at number five, marking the only new release to crack the Top 40.
