Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS), has announced that Gaikai will be able to stream PlayStation 3 titles to the PlayStation 4 in 2014.
Yoshida-san confirmed the news during a post-Tokyo Game Show key note roundtable (via IGN), where he confirmed that North America will receive a selection of streamed titles at some point next year. More will follow.
The executive added that gamers expect a solid launch line-up for Gaikai, and that titles will be playable on PS4, PlayStation Vita and PS Vita TV. Sadly, he offered no details for the European market.
PS4 is due out in the U.S. on November 15 and arrives in Europe on November 29.
