84. Hotline Miami

Despite its 2012 release, Hotline Miami revels in the look of a bygone gaming era with its top down 2D style, which nicely showcases its violent gameplay.

Hotline Miami has it all:  violence, a surreal story, stealth gameplay and more violence. The game also lets you wear bizarre masks which can help or hinder missions and the main protagonist, in an ironic twist, is just as vulnerable as the hordes of enemies he faces off against.
