In a special edition of our regular PlayStation Unchained podcast, PlayStation Universe talks with U.S. publisher Dark Horse, who has been behind many successful comic series and graphic novels based on videogames, including Zelda, Diablo, Mass Effect and The Last Of Us.
Among its upcoming videogame-related work are two books based on the EVE universe, a Tomb Raider series and comics based on CD Projekt’s The Witcher, but that’s just the beginning for Dark Horse over the next few years.
Having worked closely with the likes of Bioware and Naughty Dog, Dark Horse has forged some solid relationships within the videogame industry and are growing from strength to strength.
We spoke exclusively with Director of Custom Projects Nick McWhorter about a range of videogame and comic-related topics, including where the love affair with the games industry began, what his hopes are for Mass Effect 4 and which of the publisher’s many franchises he’d like to see made into a videogame.
