New PlayStation VR headset – what new features are there?

PSVR model CUH-ZVR2, as it’s officially known, will include an updated design that allows the stereo headphone cables to be integrated with the device. In addition, the much-criticised connection cable has been revamped into a more slimmer, streamlined design.

The new PSVR also includes an updated Processor Unit that supports HDR pass through, allowing players to experience HDR-compatible PS4 games on a TV without having to disconnect the Process Unit in between the TV and the PS4.

New PSVR release date – when can I buy it?

Sony has yet to announce a release date for the revamped PSVR headset, but promised more info will come at a later date. Fortunately, the price point will not be affected.
