IO Interactive has released the first footage of 007 First Light running on PS5 Pro at a blistering 60 FPS, and it’s safe to say that the game looks as sharp as Bond himself in a sparkling new tuxedo.

007 First Light is scheduled for release on May 27, 2026 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving at a later date. It was previously confirmed that the game’s theme song will be performed by Lana Del Rey, and you can listen to it here. Meanwhile, Lennie James has praised his co-star Patrick Gibson — the actor who portrays James Bond in the game — stating that he should be in the running for the next Bond movie.
007 First Light is billed as an origins story for the franchise, and follows a 26-year-old Bond as an inexperienced MI6 agent embarking on a mission that will grant him his 00 Status. In addition a younger 007, the game also features new incarnations of classic characters including M, Q, and Miss Moneypenny.
