Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade MMO coming to next gen

Before THQ’s bankruptcy, developer Vigil Entertainment was hard at work on an MMO, entitled Dark Millennium, set in the brutal world of Warhammer 40,000. But not all hope is lost for an MMO set in the Warhammer 40k universe.

Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade is slated to release from developer Behaviour Interactive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in late 2015.

Eternal Crusade is described as an over-the-shoulder shooter with "brutal melee combat." Players will battle for resources and territory on a persistent planet. Like other MMOs players will choose one of four factions to pledge their allegiance to: Space Marines, Eldar, Orks, and Chaos. As players level up and progress through the game, they will be able to customize their characters, and will also have access to many of the vehicles, such as Rhinos and Battlewagons, that are known to the 40k series.

Not much else is know about Eternal Crusade at the present time. Stay tuned to PSU as more information when it becomes available.
