Namco Bandai has revealed that hard-as-nails RPG Dark Souls II has shipped over one million units worldwide.
Speaking during its latest financial results this week, the publisher confirmed it had shipped 1.2 million copies of the game in the U.S. and Europe for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The figure doesn’t include the PC release, so chances are it’s surpassed the 1.2 million mark.
By comparison, the game’s predecessor moved 1.3 million copies globally for PS3 and 360 during its initial release in 2011. The PS3 Japanese release and Artorias of the Abyss Edition later bumped that figure up by one million units.
