A PS4 edition of DayZ, the craft-based open world survival title, has been formally announced at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne.
Announced by designer Dean ‘’Rocket’’ Hall at Sony’s press conference at this year’s Gamescom, the Bohemia Interactive-developed open world title is heading to Sony’s flagship console at some point in the future.
Hall, visibly excited by sharing the news, mentioned that due to the PS4’s unique capabilities Bohemia Interactive were able to ‘’expand the parameters of the overall experience’’, delivering new visuals, amongst other things.
Upon entering early access on Valve’s Steam service, DayZ was purchased over one million times in its first month.
