Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata has revealed that the upcoming PlayStation 4 and Xbox One demo of Final Fantasy XV will last anywhere between one-four hours in length.
Speaking in a live stream focusing on the upcoming high-definition port of Final Fantasy Type-0, Tabata-san said that a normal playthrough of the demo will run two hours, though it can extend to four hours if the player decides to squeeze` everything out of the teaser.
He also confirmed that the demo is a limited time offer only, though wouldn’t comment exactly how long it would be available for.
Tabata-san added: "And with regards to Final Fantasy XV, we’d love everyone to look forward to that as well, and we really want to deliver and showcase that it’s really a new generation of Final Fantasy and we’ll be showcasing that along with Final Fantasy Type-0, so we hope people will look forward to that as well."
Final Fantasy XV was originally titled Final Fantasy Versus XIII and was first announced as a PlayStation 3-exclusive at E3 2006. Fast-forward to E3 2013 however, and Square Enix re-revealed the project as FFXV for PS4 and Xbox One.
The game has yet to attract a release date, though Square Enix recently admitted they have a launch date in mind.
