Tekken 7’s arcade opening cinematic is as suitably chaotic as you’ve grown to expect

Tekken 7’s Japanese arcade release is imminent, and with that will inevitably come a virtual barrage of assets from Bandai Namco’s latest fighter – chief amongst which is the game’s opening cinematic, that continues the suitably crazed spectacle that we’ve all come to expect from the distinguished fighting series.

And while console versions of the cinematic do tend to differ from their arcade counterparts in some significant aspects, it does serve as a good guidance point to figure out who’s feuding with whom, and for what outrageous reason, etc.

As was to be expected, the Mishima family are at it again – with none other than the ever-immortal Heihachi taking it to his son Kazuya in the middle of a flaring volcano. If there’s something Tekken’s got in abundance these days it’s subtly, that’s for sure.

Check out the cinematic below:

Tekken 7 is scheduled to release on PS4 sometime in 2015 – don’t forget to give us your opinions on the game and indeed the series in the comments section below.
