Undead Labs and Xbox Game Studios have confirmed that State of Decay 3 is also coming to the PS5 in addition to the previously announced PC and Xbox Series X/S versions in 2027.
Set against the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse, State of Decay 3 sees the equilibrium broken as a new undead evolution threatens to overwhelm the landscape, forcing you to reclaim territory as you scavenge and build to protect your community. The story is yours; make tough decisions about where you will lay your head, what to build, and who to recruit into your group of survivors. Permadeath weighs heavily in air, and therefore the risk/reward gamble is something to consider.

State of Decay 3 places a huge emphasis on developing a community network by claiming multiple settlements, as you reinforce defenses, grow your arsenal, craft homemade explosives and boost morale by giving injured characters medical attention. Meanwhile, the online multiplayer mode supports up to four players, allowing you to start a community together and combine your strategies, developing and expanding your efforts that reflects your choice.
State of Decay 3 is due out in 2027 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
