Ratchet and Clank reboot pushed to 2016

Insomniac Games announced today via PlayStation Blog that the reimagined Ratchet and Clank release date has shifted to Spring 2016.

Ryan Schneider of Insomniac Games said the delay was necessary to "further polish the game to a spit-shine level, with dazzling shader response, awe-inspiring effects, velvety smooth animations, and spectacular new gameplay segments.”

Ratchet and Clank has been a principal series in Insomniac’s repertoire of games for 13 years. The remake had previously been listed to be released for the PlayStation 4 in 2015.

Schneider also announced that the movie based on the Ratchet and Clank game would arrive on April 29, 2016. The movie includes an impressive cast of actors and actresses, including Paul Giamatti, John Goodman, Rosario Dawson, Bella Thorne, and Sylvester Stallone, alongside the voice actors we’ve come to love from the series–James Arnold Taylor (Ratchet) and David Kaye (Clank).
