Insomniac Games has confirmed on the PlayStation Blog that the upcoming Ratchet & Clank reboot on PlayStation 4 will run at 1080p/30fps.
The studio’s community boss, James Stevenson, revealed that the developer is aiming to have the game’s visuals running at the point where they are able to rival those seen in modern CG movies.
"We’re 1080p/30fps," he said. "Our goal was to match or exceed the fidelity of CG animated movies. When we first started we realized that was actually possible with PS4. Pretty exciting."
In addition, Insomniac confirmed that Ratchet & Clank will clock in at around 10-12 hours in length, and will be priced at $39.99.
