Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth heads to North America for PS4 & Vita in 2016

After the this year’s E3 of Dreams, where the Holy Trinity of Games was revealed, the world learned anything was possible–including a highly-anticipated Digimon game finally reaching the West.

At their Anime Expo 2015 panel, Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth will release in 2016 for North America, Brazil, and Latin America on the PS4 (physical) and Vita (digital).

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is a role-playing game in which the player travels between the real world and the Digital World to solve mysteries occurring in both worlds. Character designs are drawn by Suzuhito Yasuda, best known for his work on Durarara!! and the Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor series. Music is composed by Danganronpa’s Masafumi Takada. The game released on the PS Vita in Japan this past March.

All I can say is, “Digimon are the champions.” Congratulations to all the DigiDestined everywhere who supported the fan petition movement Operation Decode.
