2K’s turn-based tactical franchise, XCOM, may be making its way to PlayStation Vita, according to a listing on the Korean video games ratings board website.
Though the lack of support from major publishers of Vita, including Sony themselves, has largely turned the handheld into a place for indie developers and JRPG specialists to showcase their wares, it could well be that a ported version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which was released on PS3 in 2012, could get a release.
The filing lists XCOM: Enemy Unknown Plus for PlayStation Vita. The addition of Plus to the title suggests that it could be the original game as well as the expansion, XCOM: Enemy Within, which released in 2013.
There’s no official announcement yet, so hold onto your hats until 2K makes it official.
