Mark your calendars, folks. Metal Gear Online – the multiplayer component to next month’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – will have its servers go live on October 6.
Coming courtesy of the extensive mode’s official Twitter account, the server switch-on for consoles (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360) will be the beginning of October, while the PC gamers will have to wait until January of next year.
Regarding MGO: service will go live Oct 6th for consoles (Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4) and Jan 2016 for PC

That’ll give gamers just over a month to invest in the single-player component of Hideo Kojima’s latest, and trust us, it’s about as long as you’ll need – the game is positively huge.
