Capcom has announced that it will be bringing the Street Fighter V beta stress test to North and South America starting today.
The tests will kick off at 4.00pm PDT and run until 12.00am PDT on August 25 and 26. Once these have been completed, Capcom will prepare for the five-day global beta test for its hotly anticipated fighting game sequel.
"Please note that although we anticipate these tests to run smoother than before, there may still be issues experienced by some users," said Capcom. "All data received during each of the stress tests will help us improve the online experience moving forward, and we appreciate your understanding and support."
The game’s stress tests for Europe and Asia were deemed successful, although the planned summer beta had to be pulled following a series of technical issues back in July.
Street Fighter V is due out on PlayStation 4 and PC in spring 2016. An announcement of some kind is expected to drop at PAX Prime, although no further details are available at this time.
