Bandai Namco has unleashed a new trailer for the upcoming PlayStation Vita-exclusive Digimon World: Next Order, at last showing a sizeable amount of gameplay for the first time.
The Digimon “training RPG” allows players to explore a large brightly-colored world with their Digimon partners, taking care of them along the way and fighting enemy Digimon.
You can choose between male protagonist Takuto or female protagonist named Shiki. Takuto is joined by Agumon and Gabumon while Shiki’s partnered with Biyomon and Palmon. Read our announcement article for further details on the game.
Digimon World: Next Order launches in 2016 in Japan, with no confirmation on a Western localization at this time. The last major game, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, will release in North America and Europe next year for the PS4 and PS Vita.
