Destiny has received its latest update, version 2.0.0.4, which developer Bungie confirms has nixed the rapidly-exploited Three of Coins glitch that Guardians have been utilizing since The Taken King’s launch to farm those rare exotic engrams.

-Fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after TTK release
-Fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest
-Fixed an issue where the quest “High Value Targets” did not correctly reward Legendary Marks upon completion
-Fixed an issue where Year 1 Strikes were not dropping Uncommon and Rare quality gear as intended
-Some treasure chests in the Dreadnaught are now in a location that only allow them to be looted once per spawn
-Three of Coins now provides a smaller increase in Exotic Engram drop chance when rapidly killing Ultras
-Dismantling leveled-up Exotics now have a reduced chance to produce 2 Exotic Shards
Destiny: The Taken King was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 earlier this month. The expansion is the most substantial piece of content for Bungie’s shared-world shooter to date, featuring a host of new missions, weapons, gear, strikes plus a brand new Raid.
In addition, various gameplay tweaks have also been implemented, such as a third subclass for Guardians, while the levelling system has been revamped so that now earn experience to increase your level. The Light Level meanwhile is now entirely independent and acts as an average of your defense and attack prowess. Nolan North also replaces Peter Dinklage as the voice of Ghost.
The Taken King has been a great success for publisher Activision so far, topping the U.K. All Format Charts upon release and selling the majority of copies on the PS4. In addition, it’s also now PlayStation’s biggest downloaded day-one title of all time—not too shabby.
