PlayStation 4 Firmware update v3.10 will be made available for download today, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) has announced.
This isn’t a major update though, so don’t get too excited; it will, however, allow PS4 users to follow official verified player accounts as well as customise messages with a variety of new stickers. The full list of patch notes has yet to be revealed, although Sony said they’ll be dropping later today, so stay tuned for our update.
Sony’s last major update for PS4 came in the shape of v3.00, and introduced a heap of new content. Main highlights included the introduction of stickers, allowing you to send amusing images to friends instead of regular text-based messages, plus the chance to view and event hub to keep track of all the latest goings-on for your favourite games. YouTube and Twitter were also buffed with various new features, allowing you to take 10-second videos and post them directly to the social networking site.
Sony announced earlier today that the PS4 outsold Xbox One in the U.S. last month, with the PlayStation Store also recording a massive spike in revenue.
