UPDATE: Sega has revealed Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will launch on the same day as in the Americas: August 30, 2016.
ORIGINAL STORY: Sega announced Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X for the PlayStation 4 and Vita will release in Europe sometime later this year. Meanwhile, both North American and European players will be able to download a free demo from the PlayStation Store on August 9.
The demo will be available for PS4 and PS Vita (as well as being PSTV-compatible) and features three songs: Satisfaction, LOL -lots of laugh-, and Raspberry * Monster on Easy and Normal difficulty levels. Costume modules for Miku can be unlocked and players can also create a custom Music Festival medley as an Event Request.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X launches on August 30 in the Americas in both physical copies and as digital downloads. American pre-orders and a limited number of launch copies will include a bonus pouch.
The latest entry in the hit rhythm game franchise will have PlayStation VR support (one the headset launches, of course) in the Concert Editor’s Live View mode, letting players experience a virtual Hatsune Miku concert.
