Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection is heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2016, according to GameBlog.
While Ubisoft has yet to officially announce the collection, an image obtained by GameBlog confirms that it’s the real deal, and will feature remastered version of Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations, all running at 1080p/30fps.
As you’d expect, all downloadable content for each title will also be included in the bundle. No price has been set as of yet.
In addition, the site also claims that textures in all three games are noticeably improved over their original counterparts, suggesting this is more than just a mere PC port job. Hopefully we’ll be able to clarify this when Ubisoft lifts the lid on the collection, presumably any time now.
Outside of including the three Ezio-centric titles, the bundle will also throw in both short animation films fleshing out the story of the Florentine Assassin.
Given that the next instalment in the series is not due until 2017, it’s not really that much of a surprise to see Ubisoft jumping on the remaster bandwagon as a means of plugging the gap for 2016.
