Square Enix debuted brand new Final Fantasy XV gameplay footage during its presentation at PAX West over the weekend, and we’ve got our mitts on it for your viewing pleasure.
This latest look at the hotly anticipated JRPG showcases plenty of combat, as Noctis and chums venture down into the depth of a mine shaft to mix it up with some ghastly creatures. There’s also some open-world goodness with our heroes going for a spin in their flash motor.

Final Fantasy XV is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29, 2016. The game was originally set for a late September launch, but was pushed back to allow time for extra polishing.
The project was initially announced over a decade ago as the PS3-exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which would have formed part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series of games based on FFXIII. However, the game was revamped into FFXV a few years back, at which point Versus was around 25 percent complete.
Final Fantasy XV takes on a more action-oriented approach than previous entries in the venerated JRPG franchise, as well as seeing a return to the open-world setting of classic titles.
Players will be able to tackle the main storyline as well as numerous side quests, offering around 200 hours of gameplay in total. The CG companion film, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, is now available to purchase on Blu-ray.
