Dontnod Entertainment has announced that Vampyr, its upcoming gothic-fused action-adventure title for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, will last players in the region of 15-30 hours depending on how they play.
Speaking during a developer panel (via GameRanx), the French developer confirmed that the game’s length can be expanded if the player decides to take on the various side missions available, as well as collecting all items found in the game world.

Vampyr takes place during the 1918 spanish flu epidemic in post-World War I London, and sees gamers controlling Jonathan Reid, a doctor who is struggling to come to terms with his newly-acquired vampirism.
Gamers must decide on whether to satisfy their bloodlust by feeding on London’s population or resist the urge to sink their fangs into the unsuspecting public. However, doing so will limit your powers and ability to level-up to acquire new skills, though you’ll face consequences if you do go on a blood-thirsty rampage.
Of course, combat is part of the action too, so expect to mix it up with both human and vampyr foes as you battle with a host of melee weapons and supernatural powers.
Vampyr is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in 2017. Read our Vampyr gameplay impressions here.
