Final Fantasy 15 PS4 bundle launching exclusively at GameStop in November

Sony has announced that the Final Fantasy 15 PS4 bundle will be made available in North America and the U.K. this November.

The console was announced during Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference yesterday, although at the time it wasn’t confirmed whether or not the swanky system would be made available outside of Japan.

Fortunately, Sony has now revealed that it will be coming to western regions, date and date with the release of Final Fantasy 15 on November 29, 2016. It’s only a limited edition console though, so you had better get your order in asap.

The Final Fantasy 15 console includes a special branded 1TB PS4 system, a copy of the hotly anticipated JRPG, DualShock 4 controller, plus Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15 and bonus in-game content.

No price point has been announced as of yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know when we hear something concrete.

Final Fantasy 15 was originally due out on PS4 and Xbox One in late September, but was pushed back to allow for additional polishing. This puts the game out over a decade after it was originally announced way back in 2006 as the PS3-exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII, then part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series of titles.

Unlike previous entries in the venerated RPG series, the game adopts a more action-oriented approach in regards to combat, though offers a lush open-world to explore ripe with side quests. Square Enix has said that the game transitions to a more linear path during the second half of the game, however.

The development team scrapped the original Versus project back in 2012 when it was around 25 percent complete, with various elements, such as the character of Stella, failing to make the cut in Final Fantasy 15
