Square Enix has released a new Final Fantasy 15 gameplay video for your consumption, this time focusing on the use of Moogle dolls in the hotly anticipated JRPG title.
These items are used to distract enemies, with regular foes attacking the Moogle instead of your characters until the doll is destroyed. They’re not overly powerful though, but will nonetheless provide you with some precious time in which to organise your team and figure out how to counterattack your opponent.

Square Enix originally announced that Final Fantasy 15 would be released on September 30, 2016. However, the game was delayed due to allow for additional polishing, resulting in the game being pushed back to winter. As such, the title will now show up on November 29 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Final Fantasy 15 was originally unveiled over a decade ago at E3 2006 as the PS3-exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Then part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series of games, the project was subsequently canned around the 25 percent complete mark and re-revealed for current-gen systems at E3 2013 with a new name.
This latest entry in the long-running franchise is far more action-oriented than previous Final Fantasy games, although it does signal the return of the open-world setting allowing players to explore the game world and indulge in side quests outside of the main storyline. In fact, Square Enix says that the game will take players 200 hours in total.
Final Fantasy 15 received a sumptuous Collector’s Edition featuring a range of physical content, including a Noctis figurine. Unless you already pre-ordered it a while though, you probably won’t have a chance of nabbing it; it’s sold out twice already.
