The Rocket League Hot Wheels update 1.29 launches today, February 21 and timings for the new patch, which features brand new vehicles from the Hot Wheels franchise, have been confirmed.

Developer Psyonix has revealed that the Hot Wheels update will be available to download at:
- 8am PST
- 11am EST
- 4pm GMT
The 1.29 Rocket League DLC introduces two Hot Wheels battle cars, Twin Mill III and Bone Shaker, which include six decals and wheels exclusive to the vehicles. Each car is available to buy separately, costing $1.99.
A free update will also be able available for all players without having to download the premium DLC, and includes customization items:
- Hot Wheels Topper
- Shark Bite Topper
- Hot Wheels Antenna
In addition, the update features PlayStation 4 Pro support which allows Rocket League to run at both 1080p (on a standard PS4) and 4K (on PS4 Pro) at 60 frames per second in all arenas for solo play and two-player split-screen modes.

GENERAL
- "Player’s Choice Crate Series 1" can now be found rarely after online matches
- This crate includes community favorite items voted on by the players
- Rocket League now supports the PS4 Pro with 4K rendering
BUG FIXES
- “Infinite Power!” and “Mad Scientist” Achievements have been fixed
- “Lightning” Wheel is now properly named “Voltaic”
- [PS4]: “Insufficient Space” now properly displayed when attempting to save a reply when the console’s hard drive is full
- [PS4]: Saved replays will work properly when transferred from one PS4 to another
- Vehicle driver- and passenger-side windows no longer have Blue or Orange tint when Black Market decals are equipped
- Pressing shoulder buttons simultaneously no longer causes Item overlap on vehicle customization screen
- Chain link pattern no longer visible when using certain Rocket Trails
- Fixed performance issues with the Proton, Dark Matter, and Hypernova Rocket Trails.
- Licensed Car items can no longer be forced onto other Battle-Cars
The Rocket League Hot Wheels update is one of many additional DLC packs that have been added to the vehicular soccer arena game since its launch in 2015 on PS4 and PC. Playing Rocket League has become extremely competitive with some players even competing in the Rocket League Championship series for big cash prizes.
